Europa League draw - Fri 17th Dec
Barclays Premier League duo Liverpool and Manchester City have learned who they will face in the next round of the Europa League after successfully navigating the group stage.
Liverpool will take on Sparta Prague in the first knock-out stage of the competition proper.
The Reds have been the draw specialists in the group phase, having tied four of their six matches, but in Sparta they will face a side who have proved equally difficult to beat, having drawn three of their group matches. If they get through, Liverpool would face Lech Poznan or FC Braga.
